Ranks are simple in
the land of Eryndor, but achieving a higher rank is not. Briefly, here's
the breakdown of class ranks:
Off-field
rank:
I. High Council:
Simply put. The off-field leaders of Eryndor.
II. Sympathizer:
Any non-combatant member of Eryndor.
On-field rank:
I. Recruit: An Eryndor member who has shown dedication, but has
not yet passed the basic tests to become a true member of the Eryndor
crusade.
II. Fighter: The basic warrior of Eryndor. Skilled on the battlefield,
this group makes the brunt of the Eryndor Alliance.
III. Hunter: In every essence, this class represents all that
is right among the Eryndor Alliance. Many powerful fighters will never
reach this rank due to the daunting tests.
IV. Hero: In the world of Eryndor, heroes are a lost ideology.
Even the Alliance itself has yet to meet a champion who deserves this
title.

Athron
high council/ hunter
The
last in the line of Paladins, the last of the tainted bloodline of
Avius, the last of the Light that once shined in Belegar. Determined
to reclaim the honor of his ancestors and bring wrath to the sick
blackness that now creeps from his homeland, Athron fights for himself,
his family, his fellow Crusaders, and the sake of the Continent. A
stoic leader in the Crusade, the once-squire of Hithdor must find
the true Light, the Paladin within, if he is to serve his destiny. |
Daeris
high council/ fighter
The
fateful winds of time have shaped this once young survivor of Eryndor
into a Crusader with a purposeful future. Every day, Daeris remembers
those who matter most in his life -- his courageous father Syris
who raised him, taught him, and loved him. His second father, the
mysterious, but cursed, Prince Riavorn who instilled the inspirations
that drive Daeris to reach his purpose. With his close companions,
Daeris fights hard and gracefully towards the ultimate goal -- the
destruction of Maegamarth.
|
Mithris
high council/ hunter
The
will of Syris runs through his veins and the teachings of Riavorn
are trained into his hands. With these, the youngest son of Syris
has a bright and optimistic mind, yet the darkness of the Continent
is weighing deeply upon his spirit. He finds inspiration in everything,
from Daeris' attacks to the leaves as they swirl by. But nothing
lifts this ranger's spirit more than the dedication of those who
have sworn themselves to the Eryndor Crusade. |

From one of the largest tribes inhabiting the jungles
of the Fuintaur Forest, Deakon Avory has traveled afar to fight

home to destroy this evil. Along his travels Deakon encountered
Daeris, who convinced Deakon his sword would prove worthy to the
Erydorian cause. |
Haldour
fighter/ shieldman/ berserker
Haldour traveled far to join Eryndor. As months passed,
Haldour proved his worth and dedication to the crusade both on and

fight alongside the crusaders. However, he has not been seen since
the flight from the frozen land, and his current state is unknown.

Ranikin's past
is full of misery and treachery. Once a pure-bred elf of Edheliu,
he was mutated in the Chaos wasteland. Ranikin no longer resembles
an Elf, but more a man. He joined the crusade to prove his worth
and regain his honor, and found a welcoming home. He now trains
himself to raise the morale of the crusade through training as a
bard. |
Kem
fighter/ shieldman
As a young child in the rough streets of Pathlock,
Kem was forced to watch Radicals savage his mother, father, and
their tavern. His twin brother surprised them with his skill, even
with a kitchen knife - slaying one, but finding death as well. With
his family gone, Kem had no choice but to take the hand life offered
him. The Blackwind gang trained Kem's body, seeing his potential.
They also trained his mind, making him an assassin to do their bidding.
It wasn't until the Blackwinds tried to assassinate Daeris that
Kem finally saw the truth. |
Adar
fighter
Another young
assassin of Duindor, Adar is a driven and inspired individual. He
is an apprentice of every weapon form and hopes to master them all.
Adar utilizes anything in his environment to accomplish his goal.
He lives in constant struggle of his assassin past and the personal
retribution of faith from the Creator. |
Cabara
fighter
Cabara was once
the smallest yet quickest and deadliest Royal Assassin in all of
Duindor. Cabara joined the Eryndor Crusade after Mithris stood steady,
willing to fall under Cabara's blade for the Eryndor cause. Being
fed up with the life of slitting politicians' throats, Cabara was
inspired enough by the act to join the ranks. He soon became the
most resourceful and feared fighter in Eryndor. |
Dusthue
fighter/ cutter
The crusade was on the Tor'Ket Passage and heard
the sound of steel on steel. To their surprise, it was a dampile
and half-elf fighting. When the two saw the crusade they stopped
and faced them, not knowing what to think they prepared for combat.
They learned that the Half-Elf's town had been destroyed, his mother
killed by the raiders, and his human father dead of old age. He
had been living on the Limlug Island and had a vendeta against evil.
After hearing the crusade the Half-Elf pledged his sword. |
Linwe
fighter
A true explorer at heart, Linwë often gets swept
away in her surroundings. As a young hobbit enjoying her imagination
in the Cove Woods, Linwë came across the crusaders in passing.

With no where else to go, she was taken under the wing of Sidia
and taught the way of the sword until she could rejoin her family. |
Kayle
fighter
From the mists of dawn, Kayle emerged amongst the
members of Eryndor speaking little of the life she wandered from.
Kayle paid close attention to the ways of
Athron, a leader in Eryndor who emanated strength and security within.
A nobility hid in him like her deeply missed sister.
Time passed, Eryndor grew, and Kayle still followed, always learning.
One day, she found a clasp that sisters of her family shared for
generations. This flared hope that Sidia, her dearest sister, was
near.
Kayle scanned the battlefield. There. There she stands. No mistaking
it. Defending friend and hobbit, always taking care of others. Kayle
knows the moves, she was taught herself in secret: attack the attackers,
defend the duchess. The sisters reunite and the crusade grows stronger. |
Krim
fighter
Another warrior from across the Eastern Sea, Kakita
Krim left the corrupted Shadowlands there with Hiruma Yakamo and
a few other survivors. While leaving the island, the Kami awakened
something in his blood to make him a half-elf. Now that he has made
landfall in the strange land, Krim has begun to wonder about his
future: will here ever see his homeland again, and to what purpose
did the Kami awaken his elven blood? |
Caeddyn
fighter
After his master’s house in the town of Kiro
burnt to the ground during the night, the young servant, Caeddyn,
awoke to an attack by a raiding party of Dark Followers. Hiding
among the charred wreckage of his former home, Caeddyn survived
the carnage and eventually met Yakamo, and soon after joined the
Crusade. The hidden traces of the demonic lineage of his great-grandfather,
however, have gone unnoticed.. |
Yakamo
envoy/ hunter/ berserker/ archer

Hiruma Yakamo is a warrior from across the Eastern
Sea. After defeating a foul oni in corrupted lands, he chose to
trust his fate to the fortune of the high sea after he was initially
prevented from returning home. He made landfall near a fishing
village northeast of the Everledden woods and saved it from marauding
black orcs. During later patrols, he met members of the Crusade
and lent his sword to the Crusade.
|
Amras
fighter
He was once an
Avariel Prince with wings to match his graceful body. They were
ripped from Amras by Havok which caused him to join the Crusade.
His best friends were shocked to find him gone after the successful
caravan to Eredhel. Even more shocking was his return, weeks later,
for he seemed a completely different person. He was happy, smiling,
joking, loving and he helped out wherever he could. Indeed it seemed
like he was reborn; he had faced his past and come out a better
man in no small part due to his newly attained religious fervor.
No longer Avariel but full Crusader fighting for The Light. Many
secrets still abound about this elf but as time goes on his friends
will learn more. |
Sentinus
fighter
Sentinus left his home as a child and lived in the
woods with his mentor, Arken, a once-glorious Hithdorian officer
who turned to a life of seclusion. One day, while Sentinus was away

murdered Arken. Sentinus arrived at the end of the carnage and witnessed
Athron defending the remaining villagers. With this, Sentinus joins
him on the Eryndor Crusade. |

thereafter the city came under attack and Grom Phage escaped with
Eryndor. |

in the Parparth Desert; he was the best scout. One day he retuned
from a scouting mission to find the village destroyed, his family
and friends killed. He buried the bodies, taking something from each
member of his family, so he would never forget. Seting off to Galadia
on the last horse, he pushed the horse to death. After marching to
exhaustion, he collapsed and passed out in the desert. He awoke to
find himself next to Mithris. Agios spent some time with the warrior,
learning of Eryndor and the battle it was fighting. After spending
time thinking on the subject, Agios decided to join, fighting under
the Eryndor symbol, even if it was a tree. |
Sidia
fighter
Sidia is a caretaker by nature, and has tended to Fairion
since they were childhood friends. She now follows him on the Crusade,
constantly watching his back. She will continue to watch over him,
regardless of whether or not he will let her do so. Though she is
quite open about being a guardian for those she cares for, she will
not disclose any of her past that has made her this way. |
Fairion
fighter/ envoy
Once the youngest officer in the Hithdorian army, Fairion
left Hithdor when the corruption made it apparent that there was nothing
left for him there. Fairion’s only desire was to find the good
left in the world. While searching, he realized an old friend but
a new loving presence was there with him. Good was found with Eryndor
and, along with Sidia, Fairion joined to help the Crusade. He hopes
good will once again find Hithdor so that he may return. |
Maxyor
fighter
Maxyor was born in a wooded land much like Eryndor.
He lost most of his family during an orcish raid, on the very occasion
of his honeymoon. On the last day of his three-day wedding feast,
the orcs struck. The orcs sold young Maxyor, battered and beaten,
to a sea-fairing merchant. During a series of unfortunate events,
this kind captain and Maxyor were separated by a shrewd black market
merchant. This two-faced nobleman had his hand dipped in the blood
of innocents by selling children to the highest bidder. Maxyor then
becomes this seller of human chattels' worst nightmare, rescuing the
children from their sacrificial fates. Later, juggler, artist, magician,
minstrel and spy were some of the ways Maxyor earned his keep in the
court of kings. But what drives him now is anyone's guess. Is it freedom,
friendship and forgiveness, or something else? |
Simon
D'Gester
recruit

In his native tongue, He Who
Mocks, was late of the wandering horse head-hunting tribes that
roam Haradaria. Bored with his station as Chief Head Accountant
for his tribe (virtually; his people rank their success in the number
of severed heads outside their dwellings), Simon sought a new life
and adventure. One away from head counting. Roaming the land, drinking
in smoke-filled bars (splitting
headaches) and stretching reality with strange herbs, it wasn't
until he ran head on into the Crusaders of Eryndor that he found
a purpose. His Special Purpose. Now, his head held high, Simon strives
to be more like the Crusaders of Eryndor and not sucker stab chumps
in the back. It's a hard fight, but he's making headway. |
