Basic Bag-Style Flail

The Eryndor Basic Bag-Style flail is built using Schedule 40 PVC as a core and Blue Camping Foam for all padded regions. The flail head is built with a mix of Blue Camping Foam and other closed-cell foams. The flail head is designed to meet Dagorhir's 16" minimum diameter and >= 4 oz. head requirement (recent change as per RWC XXI), please be sure to e-mail (athron@dagorhir.com) if there are different flail head specifications you wish to have the flail head meet.

The flail is a bag-style flail because the fabric covering of the head and shaft also comprise the 'chain' of the flail, as opposed to a seperate rope cord used in other flail designs. We have a preference for bag-style flails because we believe maintenance on the flail is much easier to perform when working with a bag-style flail as opposed to a rope chain flail.

These flails have tiered pommels, increasing durability for fighters that rest their hand against the pommel. The handle of the flail is wrapped in athletic tape for additional grip.
